Amy Frink, Managing Director

Amy founded Victory Search Group in 2003 after a successful career at Heidrick & Struggles. She is a seasoned and experienced executive search professional with an 18 year track record of successfully recruiting key leaders for her clients. In addition to her work with large corporate clients and leading non-profits, Amy established and leads VSG’s private equity and Financial Function specialty practices. She specializes in partnering with private equity firms and their portfolio companies to identify and recruit executives that can deliver the strategic vision for the company.Prior to founding VSG, Amy was a Principal at Heidrick & Struggles and led a team of fifteen executive search professionals. Amy and her team were responsible for recruiting emerging leaders for the firm’s portfolio of clients. Prior to ascending to the Principal level, she focused on the recruitment of chief executive officers, chief financial officers and senior operating executives as a member of the Industrial Practice.During her search career, Amy has built search practices in Chicago, San Francisco and Phoenix.Amy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Michigan State University. She is an active member of Vistage International and resides in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Julie Doman, Director

Julie Doman brings a wealth of search and industry experience to Victory Search Group. Julie’s search practice focuses primarily on companies in the consumer packaged goods and services, retail and industrial sectors and reaches across all functions. She has recently completed assignments recruiting executives in marketing, product management, sales, general management, finance and purchasing.Julie started her search career at Heidrick & Struggles. During her tenure there, she led searches for CEOs and most other C-level executives. Julie also gained international experience working for several years in London conducting searches for clients throughout Europe. While in London, she was appointed the Industrial Practice Associate Director for Europe. Julie also spent several years in marketing and brand management with PepsiCo working on well-known brands including Cap’n Crunch and Rice-A-Roni. She joined Victory Search Group in 2005.A native of Indiana, she earned an MBA in Marketing and Economics from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications from Indiana University. Julie currently resides in the Milwaukee area.

Ann Kozel, Director

Ann Kozel is a seasoned and experienced executive search professional. Her search practice focuses on building leadership teams across a variety of industries including consumer packaged goods, healthcare products and non-profit organizations.Prior to joining VSG, Ann spent over seven years with Korn/Ferry International. As a member of their mid executive practice, Futurestep, Ann placed numerous Finance, Human Resources, Regulatory, Sales, Marketing and Operations professionals during her tenure. In addition to search execution responsibilities, Ann led the Life Sciences Practice for four years; working with pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and general healthcare services clients. She was responsible for search delivery, large-scale project management and managing client relationships on a national basis.Ann began her executive search career as an Associate with Heidrick & Struggles, focused on the recruitment of chief executive officers, chief financial officers and senior operating executives in the technology and telecommunications industries.Ann earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and International Business from Illinois State University with international studies in Bristol, England. She currently resides in the Chicago area.

Lisette Valverde-Connell, Director

Lisette Valverde-Connell has over fifteen years of search experience and over twenty years of business experience. Her search practice focuses on servicing clients across a wide range of industries including consumer packaged goods, industrial, financial and not-for-profit organizations. She has successfully executed searches, developed search strategies and performed research for CFOs, Sales and Marketing Executives, Financial and Business Analysts, as well as many management and staff functions.Prior to joining VSG, Lisette founded and managed both a search enterprise and a professional employer organization (PEO). Although she eventually sold the PEO, the entrepreneurial experience she gained in the founder/owner roles adds greatly to her portfolio. Lisette left Randstad N.A., the U.S. arm of a Dutch-based global operation, in 2002. Prior to her progression to Market Manager at Randstad, N.A., Lisette had spent several years in Sales, Marketing and Management, also in the search industry. Lisette began her career with Marriott Hotels and Resorts in New York and in 1993 moved to Chicago where she began her recruiting career.A native of New York, she holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and English Literature from The University of Michigan. Lisette currently resides in South Florida.

Jim Chambers, Director

Jim Chambers has extensive experience in both for profit and nonprofit searches. Based in Dallas, Jim conducts senior executive-level engagements and established the nonprofit practice for the firm. His work has included placements in a range of functional categories for human service and cultural organizations. Before joining Victory Search Group, Jim built the nonprofit practice at TNS Partners, and was a consultant for 5 years at Heidrick & Struggles. From 1980 to 1995, Jim worked for two diversified industrial and technology companies, in general management, strategic planning, marketing, and M&A roles.Jim was a member for six years of the Board of the Dallas Chapter of the American Red Cross, chairing the Development Committee and serving on the Executive Committee. He also served for six years on the Executive Committee of the Board of the Dallas Arboretum and has just been reelected for a similar tenure for TACA. Jim was a Partner at Dallas Social Venture Partners, supports strategic planning at Children at Risk, and is a member of the Advisory Council for the School of Economic, Political & Policy Sciences, University of Texas at Dallas.Jim has a Bachelor of Arts from St. Olaf College and a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He earned an MBA from Yale University.

Lesa Engelthaler, Senior Associate

Lesa is a Senior Associate at Victory Search Group, with eight years assisting nonprofit organizations in identifying and recruiting senior leaders. She researches, develops and implements search strategies to secure candidates for positions ranging from education leaders to chief executives and functional heads of fund development, finance and marketing.Personally, Lesa is a journalist for a variety of publications, including The Dallas Morning News, D Magazine, and Christianity Today. As a volunteer she has mentored students at Southern Methodist University and leads an annual women’s trip to Nicaragua to partner with the House of Hope helping women and girls leave sex trafficking. She serves on the Board of Missio Alliance, the Advisory Board for New Friends New Life, and the Grants Review Committee for the Dallas Women’s Foundation.A native Texan and current resident of Dallas, Lesa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Studies from Columbia International University.

Kristin Henry, Associate

Kristin Henry joined Victory Search Group as an Associate for the firm’s nonprofit practice. She has quickly added value on a variety of assignments recruiting CEO candidates for human service clients, leaders for university programs, and fund development prospects for critical community institutions. Kristin has her BS in Criminal Justice from Tarleton State University. Prior to VSG she served in customer service positions and was an instructor in dance.

Tammy Maynard, Senior Associate

Tammy Maynard is a Senior Associate at Victory Search Group. She leads research, candidate identification and development, project management and process improvement for our clients.Prior to joining VSG, Tammy built a successful career with Heidrick & Struggles in a variety of roles, including Business Process Re-engineering Manager, Corporate Trainer and Project Manager. She has more than 15 years of experience in the executive search industry. Her early career was in the travel industry, including customer service and training roles for United Airlines.A native of Iowa, Tammy currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Jaime Meyers, Director

Jaime Meyers brings over twelve years of experience working in the non-profit sector and leads executive and senior level searches for the nonprofit practice of Victory Search Group. Jaime leverages her previous nonprofit experience building high-performing teams, serving in executive leadership roles, and leadership development expertise to support Victory Search Group clients.Prior to joining Victory, Jaime worked for The Commit! Partnership, Early Matters Dallas, Children At Risk – North Texas and Houston, and United Ways of Texas. Jaime is also the Founder and Program Director of CCC Leadership, a four-month leadership program for women in the nonprofit and education sectors, adapted from the transformative, year-long, Power of Self program. Jaime is also a professional leadership coach and is a certified Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner. She is also a graduate of Power of Self and Public Voices Thought Leadership Program and currently serves on the Leadership Committee of Public Voices, North Texas Board of Children At Risk and Ignite’s Texas State Council.Jaime grew up in and is based in Dallas. She received her Bachelor’s in International Relations from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.

Lisa Goolsby, Senior Research Associate

Lisa joined Victory Search Group in 2014, serving as an Associate in the nonprofit practice. Lisa is an AIRS Certified Diversity & Inclusion Recruiter – a gifted researcher, both innovative and an adept assessor of talent. Prior to VSG she was a development professional at CitySquare, where during seven years she managed staff, donor relations, and special events. An ACU grad, Lisa resides in Abilene and is very involved in the arts community including serving on the board of Abilene Ballet Theatre.

Jennifer Robinson, Associate

Jennifer Robinson brings several years of search experience to Victory Search Group. She focuses on a wide range of industries, including consumer packaged goods and services, retail, automotive, and healthcare. She has worked on assignments identifying executives in general management, finance, sales, human resources, and brand and product management, among others. She helps to develop search strategies, leads research, candidate identification, project management, and process improvement for our clients.

Jennifer started her search career in campus recruiting at Booz Allen Hamilton. While there, she recruited business graduate students at the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, University of Michigan, Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Virginia, among others. Jennifer joined Victory Search Group in 2016. A native of Chicago, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Santa Clara University studied internationally in Rome and taught English as a Second Language in Prague. She currently resides in the Milwaukee area and is an active member of the PTO Board at the local schools.

Susan Gottlieb, Director

Susan Gottlieb serves as a Director of Victory Search Group NY. She leads search engagements across a broad spectrum of industries and sectors with an emphasis on corporate functions including human resources, marketing, finance, and sales. Clients and candidates alike derive benefits from Susan’s two decades of corporate HR and talent acquisition experience coupled with over fifteen years of executive search expertise.

Prior to joining Victory Search Group, Susan spent close to ten years with Jobplex, a DHR Global company, building a practice focused on Human Resource leadership as well as Marketing, Finance and Operations. She also spent over five years with Korn Ferry/Futurestep leading successful single search, project and RPO engagements.

Previously, Susan thrived in corporate talent acquisition leadership roles at both UBS in Stamford and PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLP in New York. Earlier in her career, she held positions of progressive responsibility as an HR generalist with Chase, ABC, and Revlon.

Nichelle Bennett, Associate

Nichelle joined Victory Search Group in 2022 and supports nonprofit and education clients. She brings industry experience in higher education and secondary education and a passion for research, leadership, and supporting growth in the nonprofit sector. Nichelle helps to develop search strategies, leads research, candidate identification, project management, and process improvement for our clients.

A New Jersey native, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and a Master of Theological Studies degree from Palmer Theological Seminary. She is also a PhD candidate pursuing a degree in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University.

Louise Coffelt, Director

Louise Coffelt brings over twenty years of executive search experience serving multiple industries and functions, as well as both Fortune 500 and start-up companies. Prior to working as a strategic partner to Victory Search Group and other firms, she was one of the first six employees to build Korn/Ferry International’s mid-management division in the Chicago market. As a true generalist, Louise has enjoyed successfully completing searches from Manager to C-level in Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Operations, Technology, and Consulting. Industries have included consumer package goods, manufacturing, financial/ professional services, non-profit, retail, healthcare, and technology.

Louise earned her MBA in Human Resources and Strategy from Indiana University as well as an undergraduate degree in French Language and Literature from The University of Virginia. Louise resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
